DEFINITIONS
- Smart4U bundles are personalised offers designed to provide value for money to customers. The bundles are generated using a dynamic assessment of a customer’s average Voice, Data and SMS (VDS) spend and usage over the preceding three (3) months.
- Smart4U Data Packages
- No two customers are guaranteed to receive the same Smart4U bundle.
- The bundle allocated to a customer is based on their individual historical spend and usage.
- The offer may change from time to time depending on changes in the customer’s behaviour within the rolling three-month period.
- As customer usage or spend changes, the Smart4U offer may also be adjusted accordingly.
- Smart4U bundles consist of three components:
- a.Voice minutes
- b.Data allocation
- c.SMS allocation
- Smart4U bundles are valid for 30 days
- Smart4U bundles are non-transferable and may not be shared with other subscribers.
- Smart4U bundles do not support tethering or hotspot functionality.
- Smart4U bundles are governed by Econet Wireless Zimbabwe’s Fair Usage Policy (FUP).
- Once a customer reaches the applicable Fair Usage threshold, data speeds will be reduced.
- While Econet will use its best efforts to ensure customers enjoy optimal speeds within network capability, speeds are not guaranteed and may vary depending on location, network demand, and other technical factors.
- Econet reserves the right to review and adjust the Fair Usage Policy thresholds from time to time to ensure equitable and fair usage among Smart4U customers in line with changes in demand and network capacity.
- Eligibility- Smart4U bundles are available to prepaid customers who fall within specific spend bands as determined by Econet’s internal assessment criteria.
- Eligible and targeted customers will access Smart4U bundles through the *143# USSD menu.
- Customers may purchase Smart4U bundles using Airtime and EcoCash in both currencies USD and ZWL
- A Smart4U bundle may only be purchased once per calendar month.
- Once the Smart4U allocation is exhausted or the customer is uncomfortable with the low speeds, the customer may purchase a Top-Up bundle.
- Top Up Bundle Packages
- Top-Up bundles are available to customers who have exhausted their Smart4U allocations within the validity period.
- Upon purchase of a Top-Up bundle, data speeds will be restored to the maximum available speed accessible to the customer in their specific location, subject to network conditions.
- All queries relating to Smart4U bundles and associated services should be directed to Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Customer Care through available channels, including call centres and official social media platforms.
- All subscribers who purchase or use Smart4U bundles agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with Econet Wireless Zimbabwe’s general Terms and Conditions of Service, as amended from time to time.
- Where these Terms and Conditions are translated into a language other than English, and in the event of any inconsistency, conflict, or discrepancy between the English version and the translated version, the English version shall prevail.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe. Subscribers submit unconditionally to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
- Upon depletion of allocated data thresholds, and where the subscriber has no other active data bundle, out-of-bundle data charges shall apply in accordance with prevailing tariffs.
- To access Smart4U data bundles, the subscriber must be activated for Econet Broadband services.
- Customers have the right to decline or ignore the Smart4U offer at any time. Non-acceptance will not affect access to other standard Econet products and services.
- Econet reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw Smart4U bundles, including eligibility criteria and benefits, at its discretion and subject to applicable regulatory requirements.
