Recharge and Win Promotion
  • Customer should recharge at least US$5 or ZWG equivalent per week for them to qualify to enter into a draw.
  • All customers who reach the set recharge threshold will be put in a draw to be held fortnightly where they stand a chance to win Gas Stoves, cash, Phones, Airtime
  • A grand draw will also be held, at the end of the promotional period where customers who manage to recharge at least US$60 or ZWG equivalent during the promotional period will stand a chance to win residential properties, vehicles and solar systems.
EcoCash and Win Promotion
  • Promotion to run from 27 November 2025 to 28 February 2026
  • To stand a chance to win, a customer must transact at least US$25 or ZWG equivalent every week.
  • Under the ‘Transact and Win’ mechanic, customers that transact US$25 or more or ZWG equivalent on EcoCash, will stand a chance to win in the fortnight and grand draws.
  • A customer can WIN multiple times during the promotion and can also win in the grand prizes if they qualify under the mechanics.
  • Staff and spouses, advertising agency staff are only eligible for the staff promotion with mechanics designed for staff.
  • Cash prizes will be paid into the EcoCash USD wallet for both EcoCash and Econet winners.
  • Any uncollected prizes after 30 days of notification of winners will be forfeit. Customers are encouraged to collect their prizes on time to avoid their prizes being forfeit after 30 days from initial notification.
  • Winners will be announced via SMS, and on the Econet Wireless and EcoCash Social Media Channels (Facebook), where possible.
  • The EcoCash Business reserves the right to terminate the promotion or adjust the mechanics upon prior notification of all participating customers, and no correspondence shall be entered.
On Boarding Recharge Promotion
  • Recharge based promotion for new customers.
  • New customers will receive a bonus equivalent to 50% of recharge amount up to a maximum of US$5 or ZWG equivalent, for their first recharge then for recharges on days 7, 15, 30 and 60.
  • Only new customers purchasing a new SIM card are eligible for the offers.
  • Physical and virtual means will be eligible for the promotion
  • Bonus airtime expires midnight of the day of crediting
In Store Promotion
  • In store promotions for any walk-in customer who make shop purchases above US$5 or ZWG equivalent.
  • Customers are eligible to enter the promotion if they buy devices, onboard on SmartSuite, transact on EcoCash or buy airtime worth US$5 or ZWG equivalent.
Online Store Promotion
  • All customers who purchase an item on the online store will stand a chance to win in monthly draws to be done during the promotion duration.
SmartSuite Subscription Promotion
  • All customers who purchase an item on the online store will stand a chance to win in monthly draws to be done during the promotion duration.
  • Customers who maintain active subscriptions throughout the promotional period qualify for the grand draw to win residential properties, vehicles and solar systems.
General
  • All promotions shall be for a period of three (3) months from the date of launch.
  • One must be compliant with line registration requirements at the time of winning to be able to claim the prize. No customer will be allowed to claim a prize for a line not registered in their name.
  • Any bonus airtime availed will be usable for voice (on-net), data and SMS at the headline tariff, that is, out of bundle. Bonus airtime cannot purchase bundles.
  • All promotions are available to both pre-paid and post-paid customers.
  • All prizes that remain uncollected within three (3) months of announcing winners will be forfeited.
  • Winners who are not reachable for a period of one (1) month will be viewed as having forfeited the winnings.
  • Any videos and photographs captured during the promotion may be utilised for marketing communications and disseminated across various media channels.
  • Only the registered owner at the time of winning is entitled to claim the prize. Additionally, the utilised line must comply with registration requirements; failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the prize.
  • In the event there is a failed attempt in subscribing to any of the promotions that require subscription, or any other failure originating from a subscriber error, funds will not be refundable. Notwithstanding the above, if the error is system related, following an internal investigation a refund which is equivalent to the charges shall be provided by Econet Wireless.

  • All customers that participate in any of the promotions accept to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein as well as the terms and conditions of Econet Wireless’ service provision, and/or amended herein from time to time and further, to be included on the Econet Wireless Opt In customer base.
  • Where the terms & conditions are translated into a language other than the English Language, in the event of any inconsistencies, conflicts or discrepancies between the terms and conditions set out in the English Language version and that of the other language(s), the English Language version shall prevail.
  • The Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Privacy Policy shall apply to this promotion and by participating a customer agrees to the provisions thereof
  • Econet employees, spouses and agencies are not eligible to receive prizes in the promotion.
  • The terms and conditions herein shall be governed and construed in the laws of Zimbabwe and the subscribers agree unconditionally to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Zimbabwe.
