Data Gifting Terms And Conditions
- Data Gifting offers value for money to customers by allowing customers to gift a share of their data or bundle to their friends and family.
- Data Gifting will only be availed to Econet Subscribers via “USSD 143.
- Data Gifting Service is for customers with a minimum data volume of 500 MB in their balance.
- Transactional limits
- Customers are restricted to only 3 transactions or transfers a day.
- The gifted portion (data bundle) will be valid for 7 days after the day of gifting.
- Where the bundles expire before the subscriber finishes their allocation, the balance is wiped out and will not be carried forward.
- Gifting of data to be charged at US $0.25 per transaction or equivalent
- The tariffs are prepaid tariffs and are inclusive of VAT and Excise duty.
- All queries pertaining to the above services should be directed to Econet Wireless’ Customer Care via various channels including calling toll free number 119 and social media pages.
- All subscribers that subscribe to the service are bound by the terms and conditions contained herein as well as the terms and conditions of Econet Wireless’ service provision, and/or amended herein from time to time.
- Where the terms & conditions are translated into a language other than the English Language, in the event of any inconsistencies, conflicts or discrepancies between the terms and conditions set out in the English Language version and that of the other language(s), the English Language version shall prevail.
- The terms and conditions herein shall be governed and construed in the laws of Zimbabwe and the subscribers agree unconditionally to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Zimbabwe.
- All data bundles have specified expiry periods as appears in Annexure 1 as an example.
- Purchase of other functionality is not available data gifting.
