It sets the Group’s objectives and strategic vision and oversees progress towards the delivery of the strategy including the sustainability strategy. The Board does this through oversight of management and in the process promotes and fulfils the expectations of shareholders. It is accountable to shareholders for the conduct and performance of the business. This responsibility carries with it the equally important duty of looking after the interests of employees and stakeholders.
