Econet upgrade work nears completion
ECONET Wireless says the network expansion phase it launched in February last year is nearing completion, with over 200 hundred new base stations set to be commissioned over the next two months alone.

Huawei steps up pace of fibre optic roll out for Econet
Chinese contractor, Huawei Technologies, which last year won a US$66m contract to supply and build a fibre optic backbone network for Econet Wireless in Zimbabwe, has now completed almost 100km of trenching in the Harare area.
